MEET CARMEN BISCHEL

Director

Carmen started dancing before she could walk.  She would steady herself on the coffee table and move her little feet rhythmically to the music.   Carmen's formal dance training started at 5 years old in Denver, Colorado.

Her passion for dance continues today. She has over 30 years of combined experience in classical ballet, modern dance, ballroom, aerobic dance,  jazz, tap, and flamenco.

Carmen studied dance every day in college while getting her Bachelor's in Business Administration in Colorado.  She danced and performed with Colorado Ballet Company for many years.

Carmen moved to Arizona to attend A.S.U.  where she received a second Bachelors in Purchasing/Materials Management.  Afterwards, she worked in this field and continued dancing.  Carmen taught dance for the Maricopa Community College for over 10 years.

Carmen's love of dance led her to open Stars Kids Dance, an elegant and beautiful dance studio that she currently teaches at and owns.  Carmen enjoys her dance studio with her husband and two children that also dance.  Carmen loves sharing her passion for dance through teaching.  She especially loves teaching children.
